About the Boot Camp
Nature Rangers Youth Boot Camp is an immersive outdoor educational adventure designed to help youth develop confidence, resilience, leadership, teamwork, respect and understanding of the natural space they live in, and practical life skills through a wide variety of hands-on experiences. Participants spend their days outdoors exploring forests, fields, wetlands, and gardens while learning valuable wilderness, ecology, and sustainability skills in a fun, engaging, and supportive and structured environment.

Master bushcraft, navigation, and outdoor safety with expert guidance. Gain practical skills for a lifetime of safe outdoor sports activities and adventures.

Collaborate with peers on exciting challenges, fostering leadership and communication skills in a natural environment.

Our boot camp is tailored for active, outdoorsy youth aged 10-14 who are eager to learn, build, and explore. Perfect for those who thrive in hands-on environments and love a good challenge. No previous skills necessary, just a willingness to try.
Unique approach to outdoor education
What sets Nature Rangers apart? We blend ecological science with hands-on capability and the discipline of a structured program. Our program fosters bushcraft skills, urban farming techniques, naturalist studies, building projects, and artisan crafting. Participants also engage in journaling, team building games, and challenging obstacle courses, creating a holistic learning experience unlike any other.
A day in the life of a Ranger
Each day at Nature Rangers Youth Boot Camp includes six exciting activity blocks. Imagine building shelters, lighting fires safely, navigating with a map and compass, identifying local plants and wildlife, and contributing to gardening and urban farming projects. You'll also participate in building projects with hand and power tools, creative crafts, games, and leadership development activities. Every day is an opportunity for discovery and growth!
Details
Ages 10 to 14. Fully Outdoors and Highly Egaging.
Cost is $450 per Youth. Daily projects will be sent home and all materials are included in the cost of the camp.
Lunches and Water Bottles must be brought by every Ranger. There are no food services on site. Water is always available.
Proper Clothing Required. All activities are outdoors Rain or Shine - Event Tent, Washrooms and Wash Station on site.
